Taivallahti Campus, Architecture Competition for Residential Buildings.

Architectural design of a housing area to form a basis for town planning, with the preparation of an implementation plan as an option. The location's scope is approximately 8 000 m2.

SECTION III: LEGAL, ECONOMIC, FINANCIAL AND TECHNICAL INFORMATION

III.1) Criteria for the selection of participants:
The participant shall provide proof of experience with the design and implementation of high-quality and internationally respected housing projects executed in an urban environment and suited to the nature of the competition task. The assessment principles include die architectonic quality of the designed or implemented locations, published articles in internationally respected professional journals, invitations to international architectural competitions, success in international competitions, and other comparable achievements at the international level. Besides being able to take local conditions into account, the participant shall be able to execute the design and work with a local partner approved by the acquisition unit. The participant shall have the economic prerequisites for the performance of the architecture competition and the possible subsequent design commission. The announcement shall contain references with their planning or implementation dates, drawings or photographs of the locations as well the name of the publication or competition to which the announcer wishes to refer with respect to the aforementioned criteria. The references shall be personal with respect to the persons in charge named in the competition. To the notification shall also be attached an explanation regarding the preparedness to work with a local partner, notifications from employment pension fund and tax authorities (not older than 2 months) proving compliance with pension payment and tax obligations, credit information and a description of the company or enterprise.
