SECTION II: OBJECT OF THE DESIGN CONTEST/DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT

II.1) DESCRIPTION
II.1.1) Title attributed to the design contest/project by the contracting authority/entity:
The new Holmekollen ski jump - design contest.
II.1.2) Short description:
In connection with the World Championship in skiing, Nordic section, 2011, the Holmenkollen national ski jump arena shall be extended. In relation to this, an open international architectural contest (design contest) for the design of the New Holmenkollen ski jump arena, shall be executed. The tender documents/programme without annexes are available at the following web site: www.arkitektur.no. Registration for participation shall be carried out by ordering programme with annexes from the contest secretariat (see the tender documents or Annex A).

SECTION VI: COMPLEMENTARY INFORMATION

VI.1) DESIGN CONTEST RELATED TO A PROJECT AND/OR PROGRAMME FINANCED BY EU FUNDS:
VI.2) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The architectural competition’s jury is authorised to select a winner of the architectural competition in connection with the design of a new Holmenkollen ski jump arena, as well as awarding the remaining participants fees, within the framework of 2 000 000 NOK. Oslo municipality (on behalf of the city council) shall, based on the jury’s decision, decide which alternative shall be the basis for the construction of the new Holmenkollen ski jump arena (see the tender documents).
